1、 Starting current CCA value
The starting current CCA value is a key indicator for measuring the starting ability of lithium iron phosphate batteries. For conventional car starting batteries, their CCA value should usually not be less than 300CCA (cold start current). Under specific testing conditions, such as a temperature of 25 ℃ and a voltage of 12V, the battery should provide 300 amperes of current within 5 seconds to ensure the smooth start of the car engine.
2、 Battery capacity
The capacity of a battery represents its ability to store electrical energy, usually expressed in Ah (ampere hours). For car starting batteries, their capacity should be large enough to meet the power supply needs of engine starting and onboard electronic devices. Generally speaking, the capacity of a car starter battery should be between 40Ah and 100Ah.
3、 Low temperature performance
The performance of lithium iron phosphate batteries in low-temperature environments has a significant impact on their startup ability. Under low temperature conditions, the capacity of the battery will decrease and the internal resistance will increase, which may lead to a decrease in starting current. Therefore, qualified lithium iron phosphate batteries should have good low-temperature performance to ensure that they can still provide sufficient starting current in low-temperature environments.
4、 Charging performance
The charging performance of lithium iron phosphate batteries is also an important indicator of their quality. Good charging performance can ensure that the battery can be fully charged quickly and safely during use. An ideal lithium iron phosphate battery should have the ability to accept high charging rates while also having a long service life.
5、 Safety performance
The safety performance of lithium iron phosphate batteries is crucial, involving safety issues during use and storage. Qualified lithium iron phosphate batteries should have safety protection functions such as overcharging, over discharging, short circuit, and thermal runaway to prevent accidents from occurring.
